New version 5.10.x to upgrade older version 5.9.x results in failure was created by sparticle

Hi I was trying to upgrade an existing 5.9.x installation on Ubuntu 18.04
On downloading and replacing the existing qtVlm directory the program will not start and displays the following messages.
~/qtVlm$ ./qtVlm
qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "" even though it was found.
This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
Available platform plugins are: linuxfb, minimal, offscreen, xcb.
I cannot go back to the old version as it results in teh same messages. So no way to access qtVlm at present and all of my saved data.
Any advice or guidance appreciated.
Cheers
Spart
Problem fixed. RTFM !!! The new version introduces a new dependency that needs installing with sudo apt install libxcb-xinerama0
