I do it both files with the extension as per report on the manual (extension different of the program - see the difference) but nothing happen.

Excell
First with .saildesc (like manual report)
Second with .sailselect

You must save them as csv then, and probably rename them.
It is more difficult with excel if you are not used with that.
Try to take the examples given, rename them, and modify them with a plain text editor.

Yes for instance you take a copy of these 2 files just changing the name and you edit them in notepad directly
